trex 250?

been fancying a 250 for a while now, but my dilemma is I am, well skinty poo's
Now I see that these heli's are out of stock at fast lads, for £220, the super combo, hoping they get some more in?. Think the se is just out of my range money wise.

Now i have a mini titan, with upgrades, metal blade grips, centre hub, mixing levers, and canopy posts. Stock servo's, but with a 401 and. I would think iv got around £30 worth of spares, and a brand new flightmax 2200mAH lipo unopened. Now this may have to be sacrificed as im seriously thinking a getting rid of this and buying a brand spankers 250.

The only thing wrong with the mini t is that there is slight damage to the battery tray, which is fixed and works fine, but only cost 5er for a new one.

Any ideas what this may be worth? and am I stupid for gettin rid and going for a 250? Still a bit green with this hobby so advice appreciated

Simon, Don't do it.... As well as the mini t without a doubt but instead I don't think so. IMO ya mini t is capable of being flown outside in most conditions but the 250 takes a real good pilot to cope with say any more than 15mph winds. No worries if you only fly indoors, infact worth the change if it's all you do, but for versatility the mini t has it all the way.

the kit from fastlads for £220 is cheap. bare in mind it is the old kit though and they have included the new screws therefore it doesnt have the updated tail on it. the 250 is great and is very stable but does require a fair bit of setup and is quite fiddly. However spares and batteries are very cheap and you can fly it in small areas. the new se i supposed to be marginally better as it has improved parts over the original.

Okay cheers, just was fancying one, may wait till santa comes then and keep the mini t, would be looking to fly outdoors, but I only really fly the mini t in calm conditions anyway, because im still not that great. Thats enough for me then, 250 owners saying stick with the mini t. Its not that I don't like it, just 250 looks a little cracker.

Hey simon don't let me put you off, I think the 250 is great (Love mine) and the idea of santa hovering one down to you in December is great. When you get it you'll be able to make your own mind up.
Mini t is still a great heli though and I'm sure many people on here will echo a simular reply.
