I tried numerous ways, including going back to skids,
The best way for me was as many others have said, push the sticks in the direction the heli is going, (ie prop it up).
Try this from a sensible height, and if you get into trouble, up on the pitch and fly out of it.
I found trying to hover nosein from the ground using sticks almost impossible.
