i've just got myself a Raptor 30 v2, now it's all set up i'll be taking it for it's hover tomorrow training gear on of course wish me luck.

just thought i'd let you all know how my first attempts at hovering went.

first flight of the day was by by some one who can fly just to check that it was all set up and working since i replaced the tail servo, my heli nearly vibrated itself to death luckily Paul managed to land it . i went to stop the blades spinning and got my finger caught in the flybar which hurt like hell and bent the flybar. after a few repairs and turning down the head speed i was let loose on my heli. so for the rest of the afternoon i was sort of hovering/hopping around the field but as the day went on the hover's got longer not by much. anyway i had a realy good day trying to hover, went through half a gallon of fuel and my heli was still in one piece was eager to try again today but the wind was to strong so here's hoping for better weather on tuesday night so i can do it all again.
