  • Blade MSR - batteries are a chargin!

Omg this thing is so so small. The pictures on the internet don't really show how small it is even though some guy is holding it in his hand I'll have to take a photo next to the Blade 400 3D just to show how dwarfed it really is.

Anyway batteries are a charging and I'm looking forward to first flight.

Ok batteries charged, now trying to figure out how to get this thing stable

Throttling up seems to either enduce rotation or cause excessive drifting.

Here's a pic of mine perched comfortably on my 600NSP flybar paddle!

Has anybody (nudge Boggy) come up with a decent setting for this little thing yet?

So far I've set heli, 1Serv90deg, and that's about it but just can't get it off the ground yet without stacking a few seconds later

Hmmm, I've had to put in a lot of rudder trim to the left (about mid-way).

Is it normal when setting up any helicopter to have to trim your heli by this much on any of the controls?

I found that, on getting mine out of the box, the swashplate was not level. I tweaked the push rods on from the servos up to the swashplate to get it about level. Even so, mine still takes a bit of trimming to get it flying OK.

Ok so I'm not the only one then. Do you do the trimming via the trim levers or via the subtrim menu?

I did mine on the trim levers.

Yeah that's where I did mine but I always wondered what the sub-trim menu item was in the tx so I read up and you can from what I can tell enter the trim there aswell I guess as a more permanent model specific setting.

Exactly that. Take a peek of my indoor flying here, shot only a few mins ago.
