Hi i am completely new to helicopters i used ot be into rc planes many years ago i thought i would have a go at helicopters.
I have brought my self a second hand shuttle just to get to grips with it all.
it came with a radio and a icg540 gyro i went out and brought a futaba 6tex and installed this newer radio.
I am getting confused with the gyro gain setup, in the gyro maual it says to inhibit the gyro menu on the transmitter, ok so i do this then HH and normal mode both work, then a bit later on it says to set the gain channel to 60% both ways, how do i do this if i inhibit the gyro menu? when i turn ithe gyro menu back on i can get to the place where i set the gain but when i use the switch HH wont work. I dont know if it means to set EPA on channel 5 to 60% both ways or set the gain to 60%.
I have had it flying with out setting either of them it hovers fine i have not really tried forward flight because it is old things keep falling off i am in the process of over hauling it.
