  • What a brilliant day

    Been brilliant today
No wind, (or very little anyway) Perfect timing for me to get my newly acquired mSR into the park and give it a right good thrashing. I had it swooping and banking like a goodun, even managed a few high speed figure of eights. It was brilliant fun.
Ok I know that this may seem trivial to many of the more experienced pilots here, but to me it was a great feeling.

With the swash links popped onto the longer ball joints, loads of space and no wind this little heli is a totally different animal and I actually felt like a proper heli pilot for the first time. Makes such a change from plodding round the living room with a coax sitting bolt upright.
    Thank you E-flite

Please don't rub salt in the wound. I was so looking forward to today. Perhaps I shouldn't of rushed out so early expecting it to be still in the morning with the wind picking up

Should of just taken my time.

Sitting looking out my window at the trees not blowing in the wind is really painful
Guess I'll have to deal with just playing on phoenix.

After I crashed my blade on holiday the wind dropped for about three days after, myself and mother nature did not talk for a while

Well the blade is repaired and had its first trial flight a couple of days ago and need a few changes but looking at the perfect day yesterday from my office (yes I know it was saturday but well we all have to work) I thought about all the pilots flying and you know it felt good.

Some of us are pro pilots and some are like myself who are still hovering around its all about the fun and meeting other pilots.
