  • travel adj?

hi all, as a newbie i think im allowed to ask questions like this noticed on my twister gold tx, that there is a feature called travel adjust, now i think this is the throw amount of the control surface that is available, is this the same as endpoint adjust? My ff9 has this on, just noticed last night n still getting to grips with dual rates/exponential ect...

    cheers

travel adjust and end point are the same
its just what different makes call it
and yes its the travel of the servo
be careful if you go over 100% on some servos to make sure you don't stall the servo

Travel ajust isnt usually used to alter the ammount of pitch or elev/aer that you get.
      It affects each servo individually.

You use travel ajust to make sure that your cyclic servos all move exactly the same ammount.
If one servo moves 5% less than the other two the swash may be level at midstick, but at full pitch it wont be level (as one servo didnt move far enough)
To correct this error you can add +5% to the travel ajust for that servo.

You can also use this to keep the swash level on non CCPM helis where the link geomitary may be wrong.

If you want to alter the ammount of pitch/aer/elev then use the swash mix screen where you can alter each one individually without affecting anything else.

As for the esky transmitter, I tried to setup a heli using one and gave up. So travel ajust might have more uses with esky than with a "normal" transmitter like you FF9
