anyone suggest a decent lipo to use on my mini titan, flightpower a bit pricey for me, are those cheapo's from hongkong any good, just hovering at the min, and figure of eight, these okay for me?

Or is there something decent in between the two?

For gentle hovering etc the Mystery batteries from HK are surprisingly good - a mate has had one for over a year now and it's still going strong. Don't expect them to cope with anything more demanding than that though

Another vote for the Mystery batteries. 2 3s 2200 batts for £22 delivered. You sometimes have to solder your own deans connectors on, but other than that they are very good and I have 6 of them for use in my GL450 (agressive flying, but not 3D) and my ducted fan typhoon.

My Mystery packs were shocking. The only thing they were any good for, was on my starter.

I've heard bad things too and recently had a completely dead batt sent to me (which was promptly replaced). But every other one has been superb. I break them in gently and charge gently to start with, but after that they seem to take the abuse well.

just ordered a 2200mah batt 25C from Hobby King for 18 pound delivered, that will do me just fine along with the other supplied by thunder tiger

You could try the Mystery 2800mah packs on the 450 size, they have pretty good power. Just short of 20 cycles, and holding up good.

I use align batteries for my blade 400, 2100mh's they are a bit more expensive, but they work fine for me, doing fast forward fights no problems. look after them they'll be fine, try and leave 20% in them to help preserve them a bit longer.

Just took delivery of one of these for use on my Mini Titan Loong max 2250 3S1P 25C-35C Lipo Battery and it comes with a deans fitted...excellent value

the loongmax are fine for 'just hovering etc' and maybe more as well. Always had good service from GiantCod...
