sprit cx problem

iv got a little ****ry spirt cx , iv had it for some time now and its great, however left it for a long time in my garage and took it out today, whent to charge up the battery and put it in the helicopter, now once i switch the transmiter on and then plug in the battery to the moddle the little red led flashes really fast on the reciever, on the manual it says that this is fine and its got an conection to the transmitter, but thats all it dose, dose nothing after, usualy the controlls with twitch a little then i can start flying it, so whats the score with it, im thinking the battery is dead

Once i plug the battery into the charger the led will go red when its pluged in, then maybe about say 3-5 mins later it will go green to say its fully charged, but the battery isnt warm, these lipos are more hassle then they are worth this is not the 3rd lippo that has died on me with my other modles as well

im not massibly fussed over it, its was just fun and very easy to fly, the batteries are only 6 quid a pop mite as well buy 2 if this is the case

Lipos generally have a good cycle life..You maybe running the lipos down too much when you fly? or if you are storing them.. they should be left in a half charged state, and not run down.

Is the heli a 2.4g? it sounds like the model is trying to bind with the transmitter.

I had a Century model berfore.. Although the manual said otherwise, I am pretty sure that I had to plug the battery in the heli first and then turn the tx on..

...Maybe try it this way.

just put the bettery up to a small motor and its bearly turning it over, think its shot to hell, ill but a new one tomorow

On a side note, what im thinking off buying the lama 400d twin rotor thing also

Got a new battery for it today, and the same thing just happens, the little led just flashes, useless crap
