Help for Christmas

hi, as some of you may know, i was thinking of getting the Blade 400 or the T-Rex 450, BUT, because im new to this, i as thinkin about getting the Blade CX2. Would i be able to buy the CX2 but still be able to use the DX6i transmitter, because apparently you can still use them on helicopters 6ch or under?!?
can anyone help?

YAY, im going to go for that then, ill get the CX2, and the DX6i for christmas and have some money left, and then ill get a T-Rex 450 3 months away (march) and ill already have the transmitter. YAY, its all worked out for me.

and just so i know,
Do i have to be flying for a certain amount of time to take the BMFA A Test? And does it cost anything, an do i have to be a member of the BMFA Already.?!?!

Yes you have to be a registered member of the BMFA mate as you have to carry the membership and insurance to take the test.
The test is free and there are no stipulations as I'm aware of as to how long you must have been flying.

Suggest you join a club if you haven't already?
You can get your BMFA insurance and club membership organized together then. The club will also tell you who your local examiners are to take you for the test.

well, im currently trying to get into a club in my area, but they havent replyed to my email yet, so im just waiting for that, and then ill fly with them and get better, and then take the test for like, my 16th birthday. haha

can i ask why you want to do an A test? you dont actually need one as its not a legal requirement its more of a personal achievement.

you may not also be able to take your a when you want it is more of a case of when you are ready you need real control over our heli and be able to fly lazy 8
it is not as easy as you may think also you will nedd to read the bmfa book from page 18 onwards

yer, i was thinking that, like, it wouldnt be easy, cuz then like everyone would be able to do it. Is there and sort of tests that i can do, not now, but when im a more experianced flyer?
