  • esky belt heading hold

Having just bought the esky belt cp ( v2 ) i was wondering ( a little late now as its in bits ) if the giro had a heading hold ? As when i was trying to hover yesterday the tail was all over the place so i was using all four controls which was quite hard this would suggest that it didnt or it could be me not setting it up right in th first place ..

    many thanks jamie

dont think the v2 has hh just rate. first thing i did with my belt cp was stick a 401 gyro and 9257 servo on it.

the v2 does have a heading hold gyro. but im not sure you can adjust the gain using the tx.
if by all over the place you mean the heli was trying to constantly turn with the wind then you may have had the gyro switch on the front of the tx in the wrong position (effectivley giving you rate mode).

The v2 has a heading hold gyro, you can control the gain with the pot on the top right of the tx, also make sure the switch on the face of the tx is in the right position or the heading hold will not be operational, you'll find with the Esky heli's that you have to alter the gain on the tx pretty much every time you bind it, I've also found that when I first bind my King 3 it helps to give the tail servo a little left and right movement before flying each time as the servos are pretty duff to say the least, good enough for a beginner like me to learn on tho.

        Hope this helps.
