  • TREX 450X servo setup needed

Just bought TREX 450X 120' swashplate but instructions for servo installation and setup are very basic , need some help here I'm using a JR3810 and switched to heli mode ,changed stick mode to allow throttle on left stick as I prefer this. Firstly what servo movements should I expect when when I give left or right and forward and back on right stick etc. any help would be appreciated .......................... how do I set up mixing ? etc. Thanks in anticipation as my only RC experience is in gliders

    Hi there,

Take a look at the finless videos located here:

    http://www.helifreak.com/viewforum.php?f=95

You will need to register to download them, but it's free. THey are very good but they cover the Futaba TX not the JR, but I am sure they will help you along no end.

The forum thread you might be most interested in is this one:

    http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=12455

The "CCPM Setup Part 1" video will explain the answers to your questions in the your post.

Viewing the heli from the rear, forward should lift the rear servo and lower the front left and right. Back is the reverse.

Roll left will lower the front left and raise the front right, Roll right should be the reverse.

Pitch up should see all servos move upwards. Pitch down is the reverse.

It's all in the video I mentioned above

    Hope that helps.
