ESKY's are a waste of time/effort and money IMO. Simple as that. Dont really need to say much more than that. Take the advice and get the Blade 400 or save for an even better helicopter if you can. Go for the ESKY and you'll be doing more fiddling than flying and it still wont fly well.

I agree with the rest of the comments been made .
First get a good sim & a dx6i min so the TX is ready when your ready to get a heli eg a blade 400 or a mini titan or a trex 450 ,keep your open in the sales forum you drop luck !
It's worth waiting to get a good heli to start not worth getting a cheap one you end up crashing or not flying at all !

        Hi

I have just started flying helicopters, been doing it around 4weeks now. I also do loads of rc cars, so I am a little like you in my situation. I would recomend the blade400, I have one as my 1st heli, It does need a little calming down at 1st but when you crash (oh yes you will...many times) It,s very cheep to repair and most shops have the parts. I bought mine second hand from my local shop for £190 and it was little used, they had another at the time and another shop in the area has also got one....so what I am saying is they come up very often! as loads of people have one in the hanger at home haha.
I have no experence of the 450 but I would expect it to be of great quality if it's anything like my 500 that sits on my shelf waiting for me to get good enough to fly it! but with the blade you can open the box ,charge the battery shove 4x AAs in the transmitter and go have a go! and if you want some bling there is plenty of stuff to spend your dosh on haha, If you do find a second hand one you may find the last owner has done the only real upgrade the heli needs ...3X hitec servos as the kit ones are the only thing that will let the blade down for a begginer.

        Hope that helps a bit

Ps as far as sims go my opinion is get out there and lern to hover...you can't beat the real thing, the old little gust of wind, the dirty air comming back up under the heli etc etc.BUT don't get flash just 3ft of the ground and hold a hover, that way your crashes will be small but you will be getting the feel of the heli as it is sooo diffrent to a rc car. the sim is invaluable when it comes to learning to do everything else, and will save you a fortune as you want to progress into 3D

many here will prob disagree but this is only my experence

pm sacko he has a s/h twister storm for sale at a great price and he is a trusted seller.the storm is near identical to the blade 400 and flys just aswell.

          http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/sale/2...-storm-3d.html

i see your in london he is in kent perhaps you can arrange something.

next keep your eyes peeled for a s/h dx6i and if your lucky you could get phoenix flight sim and still be in budget

the main difference is the main frame and how the battery is carried the rest of the mechanical parts are 99%identical.i wouldn't say its any better than the blade 400 but its certainly as good and the spares although the same are actually cheaper.
this is my opinion only but i would say cosmetically its better looking than the blade. you get a red anodised boom and carbon look fins and although the canopy's on both are cheap and nasty the twisters is better looking.

all the details you need to know about them both are in blade 400 section of the forum

My first heli was the Blade CP+ and I probably spent twice as much on parts then the heli itself so if you are interested in saving some money then listen to everyone and dont buy cheap . Good luck on your decision. You will be addicted
                    Cheers,
