servo bearing

Hi all,
this may be a newbie numpty question but iv just replaced the gears of my servo on my mini t, i noticed there is a bearing on one of the main gear, but not on the main gear i ordered from fast lads, does this bearing come off broken plastic cog and do I need it on for the servo to fully work? or need new bearing to put on cog?

bearing comes off, its just tight.

anyone easy ideas how to get them off? they stubborn little buggers, by the way do i really need to swap it to the new gear?
