gyro position

this may be a daft question( so no1 laugh please iv mounted a 401 on my mini t, behind the elevator servo, on 401 futaba pads, two of them. This seems to sit quite high and when the rotor blades turn (by hand) the fly bar paddles would hit the gyro when not fully spooled up. Is this ok as the blades are not spooled up and would be ok when they are? im worried when i land, and the head speed slows, the flybar paddles wll catch the gyro, and wipe out my lovely shiny new 401

why use to of them? your get bouncy stops

You dont need 2.

Don't use 2 pads one is fine on a gyro, and it sounds like you are taking a risk of hitting the gyro on a hard landing with the blades themselves

will take the gyro off the two pads then, would it be ok slightly further towers the nose of heli just behind the ele servo? looks like it should be ok there? if not could i mount the gyro on the side of the frame? just to the side of original gyro position. iv seen other gyro's in this position.
