  • Neon Blaze or Twister CP

I've got an mCX, love it, and decided to take the plunge with a Trex 500. The Trex is great and I can hover and fly patterns tail in BUT I find it all to intimidating, bl**dy frightning actually. I want to develop my skills more on a cheap, small, collective RTF and was looking at the Blaze or Twister. Any thoughts ?
Oh, and I've got the Phoenix but ain't the same as the real thing

i have both the twister gold cp and neon blaze 2.4 cp, for me I would go for blaze, slightly heavier little bit less twitchy in flight. The twister is a nice little heli, but for me its an indoor heli, you can fly it outdoors but only on dead calm days, which really when do we get?!.

Also iv found the gold to be extremely flimsy in terms of its build, won't take many heavy landings, whereas the blaze Iv crashed at least 3 times, once heavily and only spent £15 for parts.
    go for the blaze

Personally I would save the cash for spares on the 500. You will find these cheap/smaller models a lot harder to fly. The lack of confidence you have in the machine really wont help you at all.

although i have both the blaze and the gold, and would agree they are more difficult to fly, and you will spend more time fixing them than the trex500, if I could afford a trex500 i would never go out and buy a rtf model anyhow.

If your finances can stretch to it, have a look at the 450 Pro.

I had a blaze and it was a great little heli and very cheap to repair...get the v2 though as v1 is not that great....if not blade 400 is very cheap to repair until you get your confidence for your 500...

              hope it helps.
