medevac/cx2 motors

hi,new to site and was after a bit of advice.i have a cx2 and lots of bits and pieces for a medevac which im trying to build.one of the motors doesnt work so whilst looking for a new motor i see they are called A and B or left and right,obviously this makes a difference what way you are looking at the heli.does anyone know whats what?also i have some e flight servos which i want to put on the medevac,they look similar to medevac servos,will they be ok?many thanks

hi Steve, I think the only diffence is the position of the pinion, one is further down the motor shaft to the other motor, to engage with the main gears, I could be wrong though, I've a couple of cx2's, one standard, and one blinged out with extreme skids/boom/motors, rebuilt from bits, much like you yourself are contemplating, also using flightpower 800mah 2S's, goes like stink, even in a bit of a wind outside hope this helps

i think you are right.i reckon the a motor must be the shorter one.im blinging one up now,ive done the swash just waiting for the lower hub.thanks for your help
