  • will this do for a beginner

yes me again, thanks for your responses and help so far it is appreciated,i have started to look for a blade 400 and t-rex 450 or 500 , and i have just come across someone selling this what do you guys think would it suit me, remember i only have expirience with contrarotating heli(toys to you) i will be looking at a decent sim and joining a club
    quote
    BLADE MCX
This is a great little heli as it can easily be flown indoors by a complete beginner and will teach you the basics. It comes RTF with tx and 2 extra batteries and charger
    TWISTER V2
Once you gained some experience on the mcx the fixed pitched is the next step. Its a 4 channel heli that comes RTF with tx, 2 batteries and charger also has 2 canopies original and cp gold canopy, this is a very forgiving heli and parts are cheap and easy to get
    BLADE 400
This is a great intermediate plus heli that comes RTF with 6 Channel programable radio and 3 batteries plus charger and instruction manual plus has a great alloy carry case, i have also just put new head dampners and extra shims on as well as gorrila paddels and tail rotors also has carbon tail fin and stab in addition to this i also have 4 extra canopies for the blade too as well as plastic tail rotors and tail fin and stab as well as the ac adapter to charge with
All these items would set you back £500 so grab a great deal

now the thing that concerns me is this
    qoute
NB please note that you will need to rebind the blades receiver to the dx6i radio as its currently been flown on a dx7i and some adjustments done again, someone with some experience will be able to do this for you

can you translete this into simple terms,is it something that is easy that someone with average knowledge could do or is it a biggish job, an should i stay clear.

basically what price would you put on the package

thanks and sorry for being a pain but i'm sure you will have a lot more stupid questions from me yet.

Hi mate , its a simple enough job to re bind the receivers to the DX6i and to set the blade mcx up would be easy to do any one on here could talk you through the setup . When you come to the Blade 400 and the other Heli you just use a different Memory the DX6i has 10 so theoretically you could have 10 different models and only 1 Transmitter . The setting up of the Blade 400 would be more involved it depends what changes he made in the Transmitters Menu when he set it up with the DX7 , but still not to hard . Boggy did a very good Sticky Article on setting up the Blade 400 it would be worth having a look at that . But basically if you can get that lot for a good price it can easily be done , and theres plenty of people on here with a wealth of knowledge that would be happy to help you . Not to sure on a price , i would think if it was all in V.Good condition it would be worth about £300 , but others may have other ideas . Hope this helps . Rob .

The MCX is a brilliant little Heli for indoors , i dont think it can be beaten for learning orientation it is so stable so nothing happens to quickly . Some may say it has its limitations because it is so stable it may not give a true way as to how a Heli should fly as they are unstable as are the full size , but i've got one & a CX2 and imo the little MCX has been a great little heli for practising nose in hovers and flying circuits etc .
