  • shogun brushed motor failures

I bought a shogun heli about 5 months ago and it has been back to the model shop more times than it has been in the air.
To cut a long story short i have had nothing but trouble with it ,the worst heli i have ever had.The problems started with the brushed motor failing then a receiver,a crystal, another motor, and now my third motor has failed.
I would nt mind but i have had only five flights out of it.
Has anyone out there had any problems with the Shogun.???

brushed motors in helis that size are highly overworked. the zoom/shoguns i have flown with the standard brushed motors all have motor overheating problems.

i would go as far as saying they are not fit for the purpose.

Brushed motors -- it must cost them the thick end of 10p to make and it shows.

As others have said go brushless -- bought mine 3 x 3Dmasters ago and it's still brilliant.
It's a Tornado got it off Bob J - worth the investment.
