ElyQ and clutch issue :(

Hello all,

I bought ElyQ recently, it is my first nitro bird.
I have started the engine yesterday, it was running for about 20 minutes and then once i started playing with mixture and the other valve it died and probably i overflooded it with the nitro.
I got all the nitro and oil out, tried to start again, but:
When I spin a starter the blades are pushed as well, like there is no clutch.
I have disassembed all unit checked nuts etc and I have strange feeling that clutch bearing works wrong way (it was perfect before).

Did you see any issue like that before - friend of mine has similar problem with ElyQ but for him starter does not pull blades that strong...

If the clutch isn't broken, then it sounds like it's either spread prematurely (normally down to the gap between the clutch and the liner) or possibly it's all out of alignment causing it to bind up. Loosen off the engine bolts and top frame bolts and then try and spin it over, if it's still binding take the clutch out and check it carefully. If that solves it just re-tighten it and away you go.

I have tried to dissasembed everything already.
It took top frame and engine apart and tested it manualy.
The gap between clutch and the liner is about 1mm.

When I get engine and top frame only mounted together:
When i spin (manualy) clutch bell same direction as starter does it, blades are following the bell...

Is that possible that something happened to autorotation bearing on main gear or clutch bearing?

Also will Trex600 clutch fit into ElyQ without any problems and is it any better than stock ElyQ?

If the engine was flooded you could have had a hydrolock and spun the clutch loose, it then rides up and jams against the top of the clutch bell, causing exactly the symptoms you have now.

A common issue on both the vision and the raptor as they use the same method is the the top hub nut comes loose, the the hub starts to undo its self up the crank shaft and eventually locks trhe clutch up into the top of the clutch bell, had it happen on mine and a mates raptor. Make sure when you fit the hub is is screwed on very tight and the nut also using high temp thread lock.

I have checked the nut when disassembled the heli, it was fine, it is tighten very strong and I used red thread lock for it.

The only thing I can see which can cause it will be:

I have disassembled the thing yesterday and what I have seen made me laugh .
When I was assembling the heli i have used red thread lock to install main pinion on the clutch bell, straight after i have putted the starter shaft in it.... Yes it was a thread lock on the starter shaft blocking the starter.
