OK just quick question, when you buy a new gasser kit from century do you get the electronic ignition in with the kit?

Vario gasser does not include engine in the kit and there usually very expensive//
Had most of the gassers one time or another and the Hirobo Eagle 2 is by far the best quality kit .

Okay Predator Gassers are Pull starts. You wont need anything but the Heli and Fuel and field Charger when you go flying oh and the tranny.

Well I managed to get down to the felid tonight with my Benzin for a quick test flight. After flooding it the first time and then a rapid pirouette (reversed Gyro) I just hovered 2 feet in the air to get the feel of it, after reading all the stories about the Zenoah 26 vibrating I was expecting the worst but I was pleasantly surprised, the heli doesn’t vibrate at all, I did find it a bit strange when the heli leans to the left but I will soon get used to that. After refuelling the Teflon tube on the exhaust split in mid flight and frightened me to death, the last owner replaced it in May this year and has only done four flights since so that didn’t last very long did it.
The new bit of tube is £9.00 delivered for 20x2.5x100mm; can I buy the tube from a factor instead of paying that amount every few months?

A few photos of my new Heli.

The leaning to the left thing has been mentioned a quite bit with my Skyfox. Athough when it was test flown there was not enough swash travel and it was leaning into the wind at about 30degrees!!!!! and was still going with the wind and not against it.

I hadnt noticed the normal lean but the right hand brigade all noticed it straight away.

Real nice heli by the way, try these for exhaust joiners, most people at our track used to use them for car spares, good company to deal with.

                        http://www.rapid-racing.co.uk

Type exhaust in the search box on the left frame and you;ll get a page with a few joiners dotted about. Should be cheaper.

                        See ya

Cheers, but they seem a bit short, I've ordered the part from Vario this time as I would like to fly it at the weekend but I'll keep looking ready for next time.

                              how does it behave?

Nice engine but far to shiney for me

You asked if I had flown the new Heil,

Well I had tried it a couple of times just hovering but it seemed to be over speeding and I haven't got a clue about setting up a gasser so it was trial and error.
Anyway on Sunday I went down the local flying club and one of the more advanced members flow it first to make sure it was ok before I used it at the club, this is standard practise for safety reasons. He hovered it and set the trim but it wouldn’t do a climb out very well at all, a few adjustments on the low soon sorted it and the next thing hes 40ft up in the air and I was cringing at the thought, 10 seconds later he lost all control and the Heli came crashing down and it’s a mess believe me.
I was gutted when I got back but still I wanted to fine out what cause it, after stripping it down and throwing all the old bits away before the wife saw them I found the problem, the previous owner had fitted the battery to the frame using tie wraps but he run the wire underneath the battery for some reason, anyway it was trapped between the battery and the frame and had worn down to the copper then shorted out.
