T-Rex 450 / 500. Some advice please

Thanks for your input Cambs flyer,

I think the problem is that I talk to people in shops who are usually trying to sell me something and I guess they want me to go the 500 route 'cause they're going to make more money. That's why I threw it open here I needed non biased opinions.

I've spent the afternoon looking a Trex 450 vids on YouTube and they don't look at all gimicky to me, just damn good fun!

..and they are and im sure you can fly them just as well as you can any other model.

...the problem is that you WILL want a 500, so you may as well just skip the 450.

I was in the same situation but last week and took the plunge and bought a 500 but i can see me geting a 450 as funds allow .
Its quite nice to get the heli out of the car and fly , not having to refuel and get the nitro engine going, then just put the heli away.

Good fun indeed bud', and as you said the back up with a T500 compared to a 450 is much higher in cost.

I can't recommend the 450's enough, the 450S would be a good starting point, or wait for the second hand market, there's always super bargains to be found almost weekly.
