it is very hard to do fault finding from a distance there are so many symptoms that to an untrained ear sound the same but are actually subtally different.

sometimes it takes a bit of time for some clubs to warm up to new members.

I no just how you are feeling right now but my advice is stick with it, read all the forums and ask lots of questions, when you begin to understand your heli and how it works it will give you a bigger buzz than your first hover.
This hobby has just about bankrupted me what with crashes and mistakes made but I’m not giving in.

              Very true...
I havent flown since I had my very near miss last week as I've been working away.
I have a few days off now and I'm itching to fly again but I'm very nervous and almost afraid to take it out

              Mind over matter
              Cheers,

Well i got to that stage where im flying tidy figure of 8s easy hover nose in. I had a ditch the other day. strange one a server problem or a channel problem so still not sure. Now i get vibration when in the air. Changed the feather shaft so guess i need a main shaft too.

After any dink you should really replace all 3 shafts without question - feathering spindle, main shaft and tail shaft.

They're are generally very easily bent, and not a lot of money from Quick UK.

Or if money is tight, strip out the three shafts and do the glass test, roll the shaft on a peace of glass if it's bent it will show up, if in doubt replace it.

                        Give it a break (!)

Sometimes best thing to do is to pack everything away till you feel re-inspired then you might find with a fresh perspective previously seemingly unsolvable problems are easy to fix. Remember a hobby is supposed to be FUN so if it isn't give it a rest.

From my own experience I have just about been done in by trying to set up the Twister 3D not to fly like a demented bee with 3 wings so I have gone back to some fun indoor flying with the Twister Medevac and started lusting after a Hirobo Sceadu

If you are realy tight what you can do is make the shafts yourself. That is what I do. I am currently flying with a self made spindle, flybar and output shaft on my shuttle. The mast is a quick one as i had no straight 8mm bar to make it out of........
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                          And a DX8 too

Hello all. Well after replacing all the normal parts I found the out the box Blades was out of balance. After adding lots of tape they were balanced but I took them back to the shop and they were happy to change them. Hey problem solved. Still having engine problems tho. Think it's the fuel and Jamie is having problems now he has changed to the same fuel.

cheers All for the help ( hey guess I have loads of spares now) :-)
