Mix & Match electrics ?

Hi all, I have a rappy 30 thats all Futaba electrics/radio gear 35mHz. And i have just bought a Blade 400/DX6i. 2.4. Is there any way i can use both tx,s to run both helis and if so what do i need? Richard

Replace the rx in the rappy 30 to a 2.4ghz & fly both from the DX6i.
Flog the other tranny & get your money back + for the rx.

Most tx have multiple model memories, so you can store more than 1 heli at a time.

Assuming you can get away with 6 channels, get yourself a Spektrum Rx for the rappy and run both from your DX6i, sell the 35mhz Tx & Rx.

Or the other way round.

I Kinda thought that was the way with the dx, i was just trying to find a way my lad could fly the blade with the futaba but i,m thinking sell futaba tx/rx and get another dx would be the way ? Richard

Get yourself a Spektrum AR7000 for the raptor, you could get an AR62000, but for a few quid more you mayneed the extra channel in future.

Sack off the Futaba, use the the proper Spektrum Tx (grabs the flameproof jacket)

You can get a Dx6i tx for under 100 quid and Rx for less than 50 quid. So why not sell your 35MHZ set while going is still good and put the money towards Dx.

If you wait longer, then 35MHZ may not fetch much money - so my advice would be to sell it through ebay (assume you have an account). This is the time of the year when most flyers look for bargains.
