Venom night ranger 3d XL

Hi, i'm reasonably new to heli's but got myself up a level where i'm confident at flying circuits and full speed forward flight.


i'm thinking of buying a night ranger xl. does anybody out there have any views on this heli?

No, but make sure if you do buy it there is good parts support or you find out what it is a copy of (<cough> compatible with).

I'll side with Jay here, it's the spares issue that is one of the major factors here. Plus, I'd recommend Reading through the post called "my heli is my nightmare" by Rad that's on the board just now (sorry, I can't copy/paste on my iPhone or I'd link it for you) where he raises a few really good points. I'm not sure how much the venom costs but I'd consider looking at the blade 400 3d rtf from eflite before you make your mind up. As the venom isn't very popular you may struggle to get specific advice on it if something goes west... Happy shopping.
