  • Heli Sizing - Electric, IC etc

Can anyone explain heli szing to me please, especially in way of electric heli's? I have found quite a number of resources lately, but not all areas of RC heli's are always covered, I think.

Is there is a single resource which explains both electric, IC and turbine powered heli's?

On a similar note, I also want to buy a carry case / bag or tow, but am not sure what size to go for.

    Thanks

So, does it go according to disc size and/or engine size?

nomally it would go by motor or engine size but lately with t-rex for example blade diamiter is being use

        for example
t-rex 700 = 90 size heli with diamiter of 700mm hence 700 being a part of the name

normally it would go by motor or engine size but a few heli are using the blade diamiter size in the name

          for example:

          t-rex 700 = 90size heli with 700mm blades

Yes. The blade length is the 600 for instance this is also a 50 size .
