Decent tail servo and rx ??

Trying to get the bits together to complete the electrics for a 450 SE V2 build, and need advice on a good tail servo and a decent rx please. I already have a high spec Futaba Tx on 2.4 FAAST which I plan to utilise for the heli, and bought a 401 Gyro and a set of cyclic Hi-tecs last night off another helpful forum member.

i use the robbe fs61 on my 450 and 250 and they work brill but do need a step down on the 450,can be a bit of a pain to get hold of some times

Robbe FS61BB* (rare to find)
Futaba 9650*
Futaba 9257* (faster then 9650)*
Align DS520
Align DS420? maybe (next size down, same size as HS65 hitec)

I have run a FS61 with good results untilI smashed it, then fitted a 9650 but with the 9257 gear swap inside that makes it faster.

All these servos are digital and work in DS mode on the 401. The ones marked * need a step down probably (assuming you have the std align ESC with 6v BEC), the align servos seem to run at 6v happily - the 520 on my trex500 is.

The RX you need a Futaba 6 channel FAAST that is reasonably small.

I use the Futaba 401 and Futaba 9257 tail servo, im very happy with it.

Another to consider is the Hitec HSG-5084 Digital Micro Servo.
