reflex xtr sim

Hi y'all,
got my lead for my tx (LP5 DSM, came with the CX2) loaded the cd, (my machine is running Vista pro),,,can I get to somewhere where I can fly something ?,,,can I hell !
,,anybody any idea how to use this sim ? or do I just bite the bullet and go and buy the Phoenix ?

Have you plugged in the Reflex dongle?

Hi Rob, is the "dongle" the pinkish see-through-ish bit that the lead firewire plugs into, then has a USB outlet plug to go into the computor ?,,,if so, then yes, all I get is a menu, a CAD type window with 3 axies on it, the menu allows me a selection of craft to fly, when one is chosen, nothing happens, and it goes back to 3 axies window,,I'm assuming computor-numptyness is the fault here, but with no instructions, I'm a bit lost

That sounds like it probably is the dongle. Mine has a blue see-through but but it is permanently attached to the tx cable.

So mine installed and worked perfectly without any fiddling. (running Windows XP pro, Intel chipset and Invidia graphics card)

Are you loading the Reflex model editor instead of the flight sim, by accident?

hi guys, the machine I'm running has an NVIDIA GeForce 6150se nForce n30 graphics card, I've 4g RAM, so I guess the 'pooter is up to it ?

,,good point Rob, it looks like that's what it is, but how do I get away from the modeller, and into the flight sim ?
