Heli clubs

Hi all, just an update on my "quest to find a club" = que a dramatic Bond sort of music score.

having sent emails off to several (plus a chaser too) no reply whatsoever - not even a polite "we're full Heli boy!!" I found another club called "Shuffy Flyers"

looked at their site, sent and e-mail yesterday and I have had a nice friendly reply Even inviting me to go and see the site in action

I'm well pleased, so a BIG THANKS to Shuffy flyers for being the most responsive and helpful club.

I'm looking forward to arranging my visit and hopefully - all going well - I'll be learning to fly around with a raptor 30 there.

Good for you, trying to find a heli friendly Club is hard but to actually find a Heli only club is even harder.

I emailed them a couple of times but they were full, they still offered to set my Eolo up though when I ws starting out.

And so the age old problem of a friendly club appears to have moved on in leaps and bounds....... NOT. One reply out of several and they wonder why people go it alone and end up in a mess.
