  • Mac + Phoenix + DX7

    Hi Folks,

    New DX7 and Phoenix arrived.
Spent hours trying to get Phoenix working on Macbook pro, crap graphics and only half menus (no words) appearing, many msgs to/from Phoenix support (very helpful) and finally found I had to upgrade to Parallels vers 4 - suddenly it all works - ace!

DX7 set up and have got square eyes from Phoenix today.....but blimey, its difficult.
The CX2 is easy enough on the sim (I have a real CX3), but then trying to fly a Trex 450 (next in line once I can use one on a sim) is impossible right now......it all happens so fast and so unstable.....20 seconds max and bang into the deck.....patience and practice I guess!

The sim has paid for itself many times over already!!

    Happy Flying.

Try one of the bigger helis - a 90 size - they're much more stable

      Thanks Brian,
Just been giving that a try and something a bit bigger seems to be easier for starters. Currently down in Aus for work, but have the DX7 and Phoenix with me....does that mean I'm sad?????
