sanwa 6000 super and remote glow help

Hi all.I have fitted a remote onboard glow start to my heli and want to be able to switch it on and off using the handset.The only spare channel i have is channel 5 where the gyro should go but my csm gyro runs through the rudder channel with the rudder servo and leaves the gyro channel 5 vacant.So how can i assigne a switch to turn on and off channel five or is it not possible.

If it's not already wired up for plugging directly into a reciever, the easiest way of doing it would be with a micro-servo acting on the switch. However you're just adding weight and battery draw in doing it.
