  • Raptor V1, V2 clutch ,what the difference?

I recently acquired a raptor 50 v2 from that auction site, It was originaly a v1 but upgraded to a v2.

It requires high revs for the blades to engage even after a new clutch liner, the clutch itself has had very little use. I heard on the grape vine that a v1 clutch is smaller so it would explain the higher revs to engage the blades.

    What is the size difference?

    Are they different visually?

    Cheers for any help

      Clutch difference

Hi just had the same thing myself there is about 1.5mm in size and the engine was over revving on mine got a 50 v2 clutch sorted it right out. Dave's heli's on that very same auction site sells the v2 bell with liner £8.99 and they are very good
