  • Phoenix sim - where to buy?

    Hi,

    Who sells the Phoenix sims?

Just seen the demo, looks superb!

Does it come with a lead to connect to my DX6i? I already have a lead (protech) not sure if this will work with it?

    Regards,

    Tony

The lead in the box will plug straight into the DX6i

Most heli shops stock phoenix, check the sponsors of this site.
If there is a shop close to you they might have it setup so that you can try before you buy

You might also find a copy on ebay and they sometimes are sold on the for salesection on this website, but they sell fast as its a popular program.

I bought mine from Mildlan Helicopters as they are the closest shop to me.

You wont regret buying phoenix, its very useful

I'll have a hunt around for a 2nd hand copy; there must be some one who did use one but is now too skilled thus making the sim redundant! lol!

Failing that I'll try my local RC shop, I'd rather try and keep them in business during these hard times.

          Thanks for the replies

you'll be lucky to find somebody who still flys to sell their copy of phoenix
maybe somebody giving up coz they can't do it would be more likely.

even pilots like lucas riva still use phoenix. and he's a better pilot than probably most people on this forum.

good luck finding a 2nd hand copy
but if you can't find one 2nd hand and you have to buy new it will be the best 80 quid you ever invested in your soon to be heli setup.
if it saves you from even a couple of crashes its paid for itself right away.
(1 crash could easily cost more than 80 quid in repairs)
if a sim has taught you how to get out of sticky situations when they happen (and they will) its worth its weight in gold.
