Hi., Been having problems with my tail servo on my rappy 30v2. Running jr ds820g with jr 420 gyro on 6v it seems the servo developed resistance and burned out! replaced with another 820 but not happy with it ! Anyone got suggestion for "better" servo? Thanks Richard

I would like to keep the gyro and just change the servo. Servo does not need to be super fast 3d, only hovering at the moment, but dont want to lose tail again (butt clenching for newbie). Price wise its more important i have reliability!! Within reason. Thanks RichardGIVE a man a Fish and he will eat for a day. TEACH him how to Fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day!!

Most tail servo's are 4.8 (5.1v regulated ok) volts, I have a feeling Sanwa do a 6V capable tail servo. I would suggest it would be false economy to buy a servo that is not a specific high speed tail servo as the gyro will be able to perform better with one, of course it all depends what funds you have (doesn't it always
)
I did used to have a Hitec digital on my old heli's tail and I think that was ok at 6V - cant remember the servo model though... a quick check in the hitec specs should point you in the right direction though.
- I think it the servo was a 5925 but its not a current model - take a look at the specs at www.hitecrcd.com

Try an Align 620 there very good and cheap... about on par with a Futaba 9254 which is a 70 odd quid servo
