Lipo help

I have the EK1 0180 Lipo 11.1v 1000mah 3 cell that came with the crashed HBCP2 the charger is a gws 12v with a red light when charging that should go green when done.

How long should I charge the battery normally so I know the charger is working ok

Depends on the output current of the charger and the state of the battery.
That said all things being normal, I would expect it to charge within the region of 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks, thats what i thought it might be at 1000mah, I will get the charger details.

ok charger details are:

Model YS-12w lipo carger
input: ac100v - 240v 50hz-60hz 0.2max
output: DC 12.6v ===1.0a

Yeah.
1A = 1000ma so should take in the region of an hour. Again depends on the state of the Lipo too.

Ok about an hour. I had it on for 1hr & ten mins and charger still glowing red so i have turned it for now and will use before next charge.

Is it a balancing charger? Balancing can take a little while to complete.
