  • Well I had my first crash

Yep its happerned, knew it would, just a matter of time.

A good friend who wants to get in to rc heli's ask if he could have a try and he did very well with my Honey Bee fp even got a 5 second hover in there then landed hard and broke the left skid.

BUT after replacing the skid this mornig and trying a few hovers if you can call them that I clipped a chair and sent the Honey Bee straight in to the floor and broke the rotor head.

So new parts on order and then back to destroying the house (wife's paintings, ornaments etc) super glue aremaking a lot money out of me

bad luck on the crash on of my first heli's was a honey bee i found the head was very easy to break, as you fly more and get better you'll crash less and have more time in the air keep it up and you'll do great

      Thanks.......

As the weather has been bad I have been flying inside but with not a lot of space so once the Honey is fixed I will fly in my local field, should be thursday or friday depending o the weather.

Sorry to hear of your crash - hope it gets airborne soon.

Very trusting of you to let a buddy with no heli experience fly tho. I've not let anyone fly even my mCX yet.

To be honest he is a good friend and he even brought the replacement skids for me even though I him told not to, but no real harm done expect by me today clipping the chair.
