I got caught out this evening.
Been at work all day and had a go with the T-rex in the back garden when I got home. Did one pack - fine. Did second pack and noticed tail servo not quite set up. Tweaked rod length and flew (just once more) in normal mode. Took off - tail servo sorted... then it didn't respond.
To cut a long story short, dead headed the wifes flowers and tried to cut a hole in the fence.
I put the tx down and within seconds it bleeped the low battery warning bleep. I then notice the aerial was fully down and I hadn't touched it.
Don't fly when your tired people!!
PS... The T-Rex isn't mine. I have some explaining to do

hope there isn't too much damage. I was taught to pull the aerial out about a foot until the heli is ready and out at its take off point, then back away while extending to full length before commencing flying, easily done tho I rekon.
