  • Firsts in the last 32 hours...

    Eflight Blade400 firsts since 6:30pm on Friday...
    1. First flight
    2. First hover
    3. First crash
    4. First broken bits
    5. First trip to West London Models
    6. First purchase of aluminium bling (for the 400)
    7. First 8 hour repair session
    8. First video to ask for help on here
    9. First feedback to say I'd been a numpty
    10. First realisation of a complete ****-up of a rebuild
    11. First extra hour rectifying ****-ups
    12. First hover in the flat to test the fix (only 6" for a split second)
    13. First sit back and grin at a fixed whirly bird!
    If only the forecast for tomorrow was a bit better... then I could do it all again...

    Try not to do the second crash tomorrow

    Im glad you got it all built up again, next time you will get it fixed in no time

      That's the spirit!!!

      The first few flights with the Blade ended in crashes for me too and the inevitable rebuild! It's great when something you've rebuily actually flies though and once the flying bit "clicks", you'll be away!

        No dobt there will be a next time, but ho hum it comes with the territory (thats what I tell myself anyway)

          The learning process is slow but once acheaved you will love the hobby.

            Try not to get it to 15 feet again. 3-4 feet is really ok. Focus on hovering (2-3 sec only to begin with) and gradually built it to 20 sec (may take you a couple of days) If heli drifts left or right let it - do not worry. That control will come later.
