  • Need a new Heli, any suggestions

    All,
i Already have a JR voyager e, but its way out of my league at the moment as i have never flown one before,
as a newbie i want an outdoor model that is suitible for for a beginer and was wondering if any of you knew of any models that get good feedback from its user.
i have Heliphil that is going to teach me to fly my model and im going to invest in the phoenix sim, but i want a beginers model that will last.
    Cheers

    Hi

I would suggest practicing with the sim for a while before you invest too much. The voyager will be fine (hopefully).....

I dont know the voyager, but all helis can be setup with the beginner in mind. the bigger the machine the more stable they are, and alot of people start with 50 size machines.

The important thing with these is to get yourself to a club and get them setup and trimmed out properly, to help avoid damage and danger.

Helihpil is spot on too, plenty of sim time will help, when I get noobies at the field you can always tell those that have started with a sim
      All the best

        hi there

i have a mini titan for sale,

the voyager will be more stable, however it will also be much more imtimidating. the chances of you crashing are also fairly high! (everyone does!) and spares prices are much cheaper for the mini titan. (and if you bought mine you get a whole load of spares with it!)

i'll just get the link to it... it really is a mint one!

i know i sound like a sales man here but others should agree with what i said. i'm not saying you shouldn't just go straight into the voyager either!... ut if you do.. you need to make sure you hve help and lootttss of sim time

        good luck!
        Tom

i just hope my transmitter will be able to use with the flight sim.
