Hi,
I had my CX3 in quite a few pieces as I had to replace the outer rotor shaft, so while it was in pieces I thought I'd ad a few bits and see if I could do something about the body that was, frankly, a bit naff (I'm not really into 'Police' helicopters
)... so...

We have...
- Eflight Blade CX3
- Aluminium swash plate
- Aluminium lower blade head unit
- Aluminium top inner shaft bearing
- Modified BLADE400 bodywork
- Modified WIRE COATHANGER tail unit
I've also tweaked the gyro gain to reduce tail twitch, so I'm now very happy indeed with it... especially as it's been out of action for nearly a week while I got a replacement top outer shaft bearing!
Here's an initial flight, but I've since bound it to my DX6i controller (instructions HERE) and I'm sorting the trim out etc. It feels like a masive improvement already, but my batteries are dead so playtime is over for tonight...

It must be true when they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder because that's one ugly looking creation from where I'm sitting.
