    Well done mate.

I did a left hand turn at height and speed over my left shoulder, and kept it all looking like I meant it today with my Sceadu.

    I'm chuffed as well!

      Well done Sidy!
It's a great feeling knowing you have done an entire flight all on your own. I had a couple of lessons with Ade and he is a great teacher. It wasn't long after those lessons that I got a Raptor and am hovering around with not a buddy box in sight. I still have to have a A test heli person next to me (just in case - club rules) so solo proper is still to come.
      Regards,
      Cheers, Lee.

*I* knew you could do it, it was just a matter of stringing a few lessons together.

Leebert, You picked it up very quickly clubman3d next year!

I feel comfortable hovering, but at our main site, you MUST be buddied up to fly without an A test, at other sites as Leebert, you need an A test pass to be with you when you fly
Hers hoping that I can sort this out later this year

                Well done Siddy!

It is as others have already said, a fantastic feeling to just be able to hover. I found when I learnt that it just clicked and I could do it. I then wondered why the hell I found it so difficult in the first place

                Cheers,
                Pete.

Not sure about Clubman 3D next year but I have booked my A test for this coming weekend.

I wonder if the weather will hold out...

Leebert: bad news the weather will hold out although
temps may drop hopefully a few degrees.

Good luck on the A test.

Congratulations Sidy, keep up the good work and good luck with your A!!

FYI...There is a new A schedule that has just been released, the 2003 book states that you have to do a hovering L with the sideways point in whatever direction you want. You now have to do an inverted 'T' shape (in upright hover ) and so a hover to the left and right will be required.

                        http://www.bmfa.org/achievement/files/RCASMar06.pdf

There is also talk of the B test changing, but I won't give details till the talk is factual...

nps, you may find that the examiner is not aware of the new schedule, I was only informed on Sunday...if so, do the old schedule, it's easier
