help with phoenix

hello,new to this forum today and already i need help! bought phoenix sim today as recommended by everyone and installed it on laptop but cannot make it run or open or anythingnot too good with computers as you can tell any help would be great

Can you tell us a little more about the spec of your laptop?
Does it start up at all?
Have you plugged in the lead that came with Phoenix?

cheers martin,laptop has vista and pentium dual core if thats any help and lead plugged in and click on phoenix and it comes up downloads ,weather,flying sites etc but all come up empty files.

Un-install the program, unplug the lead and then try a clean install.

Sounds like you have just had a bad install.

Sounds like the program is launching, and going through the automatic updates screen?
Can't you close/cancel the updates screen and progress to the actual sim - first run you should need to calibrate your Tx to the sim...

Not sure what's going on there. Sounds like the spec of your laptop is OK.
Have you tried un-installing, reboot, then re-installing?
So what do you mean by "but all come up empty files"?

thanks for all the help,uninstalled and re-installed and seems to be ok so will try and give it a go and i`m sure i`ll be back tommorrow.cheers Russ
