its worth noting you dont need to take the engine out to get the cateye out. just undo a bolt "opposite" to the idle screw pull the brass bit out and the cateye will come out with it.

anybody can be an Arsehole, it takes real commitment, dedication and a whole lot of effort to be nice.
Ok - have flown the Sciddly Doo this afternoon with the cateye mod.
I've had to lean out the low-mid range cam by about 30% to get it to run right at low-mid revs, and have found the engine to be more sensitive to the main needle valve postion as well. I've had to lean the main needle in a few clicks to get it going well and to keep it singing on the exhaust.
All-in-all, it's different and is definately more finnicky, but is it any better?
Not really sure on that one yet - need to play some more tomorrow afternoon.
