Can't really add much more than what's been said, other than once again welcome to the forum and I hope in partnership with the other more regular ladies on the site Woody (Sue) & Mrs Leebert (Paula) that others will follow.

Hi Jayme and welcome to this wonderful forum from a fellow beginner..
I can't offer you much advice apart from getting Phoenix, start using it and you'll realize how tricky these ccpm heli's are.. however, practice makes perfect..
Good luck with your learning mission..

I'm so sorry to hear that you had a crash with your B400Originally posted by jboweruk View PostI promptly gave all that advice and guess what, binned mine today triying a flip that I'd done several times before, urgh.
Did you have any lessons with a qualified instructor before you went solo? Is the damage repairable? You buy spares cheap depends how bad the heli is. Once again sorry to hear huni x

I don't think it's too bad, I got to the throttle hold in time so no FCD on the floor. Flybar is defo bent, skids broke, feathering shaft, not sure about main but seems okay, and blades survived.
Jayme, no actual lessons, but one of the guys on here taught me to fly without a buddy lead. He did well too. My crash was a dumb thumb, pure and simple pilot error doing the flip. She went over okay, then started heading in our direction at great speed, with me fighting her, in the end it was or my beloved Blade, I chose to save us and hit the deck, hard.
Life happens, I'll just re-build her between tomorrow and Monday ready for when I go to my Bro's on Tuesday. I'm taking her with me so we can have a fly.John
