Salvation 9 problem

Hi I'm new to this and my wife bought me a Salvation 9 for Christmas. After a few flights and a crash it suddenly was completely uncontrolable. At first I thought one of the link arms to the top blades had dissapeared but after searching the web I found that there should only be one anyway. This leaves the top blade carrier very unstable but I can't see how else they should be fixed, in fact everytime I try to fly it now it very quickly crashes and the top blades and carrier come off the rota shaft and only stay with the helicopter due to the one link arm, any ideas please.

hi mate and welcome to the forum ,the top blade carrier should be fixed to the shaft either by a small screw it may even be loctited on ,the flybar which is the rod with the weights on helps stabilise the heli and helps with blade tracking .

just seen the heli in question the blade grips actually swivel on two spigots if you take the blade grips off and have a look it should be obvious .

Thanks, in that case it looks as though the final part of the spigot on both sides has snapped off as I can see the recess in the blade carrier but there is nothing left on the rotor that would be thin enough to go into the carrier so now I need to find out where I can get a new top section of the rotor from as it will be to small to drill and fit a pin.

good luck with that as with all these little helis unless its a well branded name the spares are hard to find.
