Whilst I wouldn't be so foolish as to say you won't break it in the first 10 minutes, I ordered a bunch of stuff with mine when I got it just before New Years. I have had some major crashes and have yet to use a single item from my spares kit!

So my DX6i arrives today!! woohoo!! : )

      However, my mCX hasn't : (

And my Phoenix is still inthe post!!

So i'm sat here staring at the Tx in despair!! I'll be praying for it to arrive tomorrow, i just can't wait!!

Got a question however, i have been thinking about other helicopters i would like to have when i learn how to fly properly (i know i should crawl before i run) : ).. and looking around i cannot find a BNF version of either the CX2 or the Blade 400. So now i have a DX6i what would i do if i want to go for a bigger heli? just buy it and sell the Tx seperately?? what have people with CX2 (and a DX6i) as a first heli do? did they sell their LP5DSM?

        Hi Mojo,

Now you have a DX6i you can start looking at bigger heli's ie Trex250,450 etc as they are available as kits without radio. Just buy an AR6200 receiver and use the DX6i. Also there are manufacturers that sell skeleton's, heli's with all the mechanics and no electrics so you can add your own.

Have Fun!!! but keep the wallet handy.

            So it's finally here!!

And boy is it sweet!! It's so stable and good to fly.. I think i am still a bit obsessed with the trimming trying to make it hover perfectly with no drifting, however, i think i'll forget about that and just get it to do that using the the sticks..

It's a world of difference flying a 3 channel and then flying this lovely heli.. The problem i'm having is that i'm used to the right stick for rudder control but have to re-learn using the left stick for rudder.. Already started experimenting with turns using both rudder and roll (and a bit of forward movement).. somehow i'm getting it really nice (without thinking about it).. I need to actually de-construct what i'm doing to be able to learn properly..

Anyway, enough rambling, i'm sure you all know how good this little beauty is.. I'm just a bit excited

I'll keep you all posted with the progress and thanks again for all your help and advice..

Off to fly it a bit more now!!
