phoenix Sim Help needed

Hi All

My new Phoenix sim arrived today but I dont seem to be able to calibrate my transmitter (Futaba 6EX-2.4ghz). It says to disable the swashplate but I dont think I can do this on my transmitter, when you go into advanced menu it will not seem to calibrate the right stick for some reason.

When I try and fly a aeroplane for example the throttle is reversed and the ailerons are banked with the sticks centered.

Any ideas?

did you make a new model in the transmitter for phoenix?

have you read the instructions that came with your Radio ? .... you need to be in a new model memory and it needs to be in single servo mode and not eccpm .... read the manual that came with it .. I did

I cant see anything in the manual about single servo mode or eccpm, what do these terms mean?

Hi,

I have a 6EX..... Here goes..

Turn on the tx, hold the two white buttons (mode + select) till it beeps, there it will say the model number... using the input lever (+ and - lever on the right side) move up or down to a new model number..
Then press the select button twice to go to heli/ac, the top one is the active one.... use the input lever to change to "HELI" if needed, then press mode again to get to the memory name option, "M" will be flashing.. change each letter to whatever you want, "SIM" on mine... Then press mode to scroll round to "SWSH" it should be on 1-5, if it isnt change it to this and youre done with the basics..

select new model memory and choose heli mode and the swash type should be H-1 ... HR-3 is the eccpm mode and H-1 is the single servo ccpm mode .. hope this helps .. am sure its in the manual ....
