Others will back me up soon Danny but £100 will get you nothing of any good to do 3D mate.

Your going to have to up your budget to around the £300 mark where you will get a Blade 400-3D plus a lipo.

Can I ask what sim you've been using. Some are, er, "over-optimistic" about how a helicopter flies...

I got my blade for around the £300 mark and then spent the same again on bits and bobs, and seems to be very popular as a starter 3D heli.

I would guess that if you can fly well on a sim you would very fast outgrow a Honey bee.

Perfect sim to learn on mate, just remember there is no worry about crash costs on the sim, there is major squeaky bum moments in real life!!

what about a Esky Belt-cp or the new Esky Belt-cp V2 version?

Note: This will be my FIRST helicopter

If you've been flying for that long on the simulator then I'd take the advice you've been given, you will regret spending money on one of the lower spec models.

If it means waiting a little longer to get the right machine I'd hang on in there and keep flying the sim a bit longer.

Oh, I'm sure that's fine. It's just that your original budget was probably less than this sim cost!

Mate the Blade 400 will serve you well, I've been flying mine since August (had it in June but don't even go there... LOL), Once you learn how to tame her she's a sweet flying piece of kit. Can I suggest that no matter how many hours you've done on the sim you do the following:

                        1/ Buy some Training Gear.
2/ find somebody near you with the same heli if you can. Or at least somebody who knows helis to check it over for you. And take some of the settings down a little, mainly pitch and throttle curve, you don't need the linear curve on the pitch that will be set in the TX, nor the full throttle, keep that down to around 85% top.

If you need help with doing that in the tx we'll be more than willing to assist you there.
