  • Trim Trouble

I've flown 5 batteries through my new Twister Hawk (and learn something new and improved everytime I get into the air ) and during the last 2 batteries the heli seems to turn slowly ani- clockwise, no amount of administered trim seems to stop it. Is there some kind of adjustment I can make to stop it from doing the anti- clockwise spin???

    Many Thanks In Advance

try this if it gets worse turn the pot the opposite way disconnect the battery and reconect after each adjustment. the pots to adjust are on the 4 in1 unit

hover the heli it should now be in a nice steady hover if the tail drifts right with no input.. land the heli turn the proportion pot anti clockwise very slightly.left drift turn clockwise..then disconnect the battery..reconnect and re-hover. small adjustments be patient. once the tail doesn't drift...apply input to the rudder and release if the heli continues to turn slightly then slowly settles add gain. if it is reluctant to turn and wags reduce gain.( you can do this without disconnecting each time)

Might be she's loosen up abit & just need tail setting back up again check the manual but disconnect motor wires whilst doing thator if this one is cx2 then agian manual will show screw that adjusts tail.

I kind of understood that I'll give it a go after the batteries fully charged

its quite simple, once you start Adam you'll soon see how its done.

iirc twister call it yaw not proportional! those instructions are for a cx2 so as ive said if it gets worse dont panic adjust the otherway. make small adjustments and be patient

I just took a look at the 4 in 1 and I can see the adjustment screws. It wasn't too much trouble when I'm hovering tail- in but I was trying to hover nose in and it was tricky to keep it facing me

            Thanks
