  • mcx and cx2

After saying the cx2 was difficult indoors and that the mcx is better I've just gone back to the cx2. I can fly the mcx with no problem except when it goes all wobbly and falls to the floor and I can now fly the cx2 indoors. I've flown it outdoors as well and I can't do what I can with the mcx. I'm bored with the mcx now and thinking of upgrading the cx2. The canopy is broken now so I'll need one of those boom things for a start. I've got a spare gyro as well.

i dont think you will be able to upgrade the gyro cj as its built into the 3in1. tbh its perfectly good on the cx2 anyway.there have been a few posts about the cx2 been to big for living rooms lately, well before the mcx it was all we used to recommend!!

      its a great heli

Agreed, however if you have a Town Hall or large enclosed space that can be used you'll never have enough batts for the BCX2.

My most recent CX2 has only about 50 minutes to it's log, if that, but joining up with a new RC club the CX2 will be in it's element, and I can see more Electrolite Li Po's being ordered in the near foreseeable future.

Ron, on my CX2 box the E-flite Gyro thats standard on the CX3 is mentioned as an optional add on, possibly this may cure the slight rotation Contras have, even more so as the batt drains and the torque drops off a tad.

Apart from that I haven't gone any further, but I'm sure the new Gyro can be added to the CX2, at least E-flite give you that impression?
